CELEBRATING FREEDOM: DJTC Announces the 2026 Juneteenth Tennis Invitational
There is no place more fitting to celebrate Juneteenth than Eatonville, Florida the oldest Black incorporated municipality in the United States. This year, the Denton Johnson Tennis Corporation is proud to announce our inaugural Juneteenth Tennis Invitational, taking place the weekend of June 19th, 2026, at the Orlando Tennis Center courts.
This special event is designed to honor the resilience, culture, and triumphs of our ancestors while empowering the youth who represent our future. The invitational will feature competitive matches, with all proceeds directly benefiting the Denton Johnson Tennis Corp.
But this weekend is about more than just keeping score. The Juneteenth Invitational will serve as a vibrant community gathering. Off the court, attendees can expect local food vendors, historical showcases detailing Eatonville's rich legacy, and a few great surprises in store.
